	My new CD, Across Time, is now available.

Considering that creating my first two recordings took 25, then 10 years, respectively, I’m feeling pretty good about “Across Time” having taken just three--and it was actually recorded, produced, mixed & packaged in six months. Perhaps the older I get, the quicker the tunes will come along? We’ll see.

This collection features nods to old and new, as you might have imagined from the title. It reflects my feeling of being “re-rooted” in my acoustic guitar picking and contemporary-folk syle, but I also stretched out a bit in a couple of ways. I included a few pieces composed on the piano, including one instrumental for which I wrote the saxophone part, too. (Lucky for you I didn’t play that.) The other departure for me was that I took a small leap into some topical areas that I’ve not broached before. Understanding that not everyone will agree with me is a price I’m willing to pay for unleashing my creativity and self-expression. I also believe that it is still possible to connect when we disagree. (Though I’m thinking that my mother would blanch at the thought--not politics or religion at the holiday dinner table!!) Finally, there is a scandalous photo hidden behind the CD.
